Election Fear

Bob Dole had just clinched the 1996 Republican nomination. I remember rampant campaigning by lots of candidates about foreign workers, immigrants, gays and lesbians, and everyone else who wasn't a white male. Home of the free, land of the brave? Yeah, right. Now, ten years later, I fear things are even worse.
